OPEN BOOKCONTRACTOR
Work with me

One-to-one, from your actual P&L.

I work with a small number of trade business owners at a time, from their real numbers. Not a course. Not a mastermind. Not a group call with forty people in it.

We open your books the way I open mine on the show, and we fix what the numbers are telling us.

What we actually work on

The six things that move the number

01

Know your numbers

Job costing that works, your true overhead rate, and gross margin broken out by job type instead of averaged into mush.

02

Price for margin

Bidding to profit rather than to win. Which bids to lose on purpose, and why that raises your year.

03

Sales process

The door, the appointment, the close. What your reps actually say, and what happens to the quotes that go quiet.

04

Crew and hiring

Subs versus in-house, pay structures that don't punish you at scale, and why good guys leave.

05

Get out of the truck

The systems and the two or three hires that take you out of daily operations without the wheels coming off.

06

Cash flow and scaling

The cash trap of growth. When to take volume, and when turning work down is the profitable decision.

MONTHLY, ONGOING
$1,500–2,500
PER MONTH · 3–6 OWNERS AT A TIME

Where you land in that range depends on the size of the business and how much of the work is mine versus yours. No long contract — month to month, cancel when it stops being worth it.

How it runs

  • We start with your actual P&L and last quarter's jobs.
  • A working call every two weeks, plus email between.
  • You get the same spreadsheets and templates I run my own company on.
  • Everything stays between us. I don't name clients on the show.
Be honest with yourself

This isn't for you if

  • You're under $1M and still figuring out whether the business works at all.
  • You want leads. I'm not a marketing agency and I won't sell you a lead-gen system.
  • You aren't willing to show me real numbers, including the bad ones.
  • You want someone to agree with you. That's what your brother-in-law is for.

Send me one email

Tell me what you run, roughly what you did last year, and the one number you can't get a handle on. If I can help I'll say so, and if I can't I'll tell you that too.
